GEDORE TORCOTRONIC III with Non-Reference Arm Angle Measurement

ITS ARRIVED

The microprocessor, electronic TORCOTRONIC (TT) torque wrench has been refined. The tried-and-tested TT II system has now been extended by a non-reference arm angle measurement and the software adapted to market requirements. TORCOTRONIC III is usable in a variety of fields. Not only during the strenuous daily workshop routine but also in practically all manufacturing fields, it represents an indispensable helper in matters of controlled screw tightening.

The range is one between 10 - 120 and 70 - 350 Newton meter and is changeable to foot-pound. The wrench has a ½" rectangular reversible ratchet head. The 9x12 and 14x18 square sockets are the basis for working effectively, for instance, in cramped and hard-to-reach locations. Guaranteed is a high degree of measurement accuracy of +/- 1% tolerance for all readings (+/- one digit). The wrench has a USB interface for data exchange and can be rum either with two batteries Mignon AA or with rechargeable battery (NiMH). The scope for programming various depth gauges prevents application faults and considerably eases one's daily work when different fittings are involved. Icons on the LCD (liquid crystal display) graphics reveal the easy-to-follow menu guide. The fact of the set parameters being reached is both optically and acoustically signalled.

Up to 2,000 data records – exportable into MS Excel® - can be saved in the wrench. Each data record contains the following: number, evaluation in the tightening parameter mode, torque Min., torque objective, torque Max. reading, unit, snug torque, angle Min., angle objective, angle Max., angle reading, tightening parameter description, data, time and depth gauge.

The scope of delivery includes the electronic TORCOTRONIC III torque wrench, a ½" rectangular reversible ratchet head, a USB data transfer cable and software for a Windows®-operated PC. A detailed operating manual and a test certificate of the DIN EN ISO 6789:2003, Type I, Class C category are enclosed with the wrench. A PC running a Windows® operating system (from Windows XP®) is required to obtain the full
benefit of all the functions.

The TORCOTRONIC III comes in two versions: Model 120 and Model 3560 with a 10 - 120 and a 70 to 350 Newton meter range, respectively.
